As we all know, tastes are different. At the same time, however, everyone wants to focus on aesthetics and functionality – this also applies to house design. In this context, the figurehead of your property is the façade. This forms the first impression and already says a lot about the residents. At the same time, it is the façade that ensures a good indoor climate. By changing the façade or by adding façade cladding, you can increase energy efficiency and create a more pleasant indoor atmosphere. If the façade also looks good, you have achieved your goal.

This is how important naturalness is for modern façades

What does the modern façade actually look like? Today, more and more people are relying on natural materials. These are aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly, while also promising a high degree of functionality. That’s why many people want to show they have a green thumb by designing the façade of their house. And what better way to do that than with a green façade?

This is mainly used in the course of the fact that more and more space is needed for houses and buildings. This also pushes parks and the like further into the background. However, some greenery and plants are important for the environment. In modern architecture, the greening of the house façade is therefore a deliberate choice.

Noble and close to nature: Wood

Wooden house facades are modern, chic, environmentally friendly and practical. These are also available in a wide variety of designs, so there is the right solution for every taste. Greyed wood, for example, provides rustic accents and beautifies the exterior with its avant-garde appearance. Very noble, on the other hand, is the façade burnt wood cladding.

The Japanese method of woodworking called Yakisugi was used for this. In this process, the wood is deliberately charred and as a result acquires its particularly aesthetic appearance. However, façades in classic types of wood, such as larch, or wooden façades painted in bright colours also make for a remarkable view. So here you will encounter a large number of possibilities, with the right solution for every taste.

Stone for your house facade

Natural stone is also very popular for façade design. The material is characterised above all by the fact that it is particularly robust and in this sense skilfully defies all kinds of external influences. Compared to facades made of wood, hardly any maintenance is required here, which of course makes the implementation even more attractive. You will also find a wide range of materials.

Slate, for example, provides a very modern look that directly enhances your house. But classic clinker bricks are also far from being obsolete. They make architecture look particularly cosy and are also very robust. You can choose from different types of clinker bricks. The same applies to brick, which gives your house a natural yet classically beautiful touch. Alternatively, you can also opt for combinations of wood and stone.
